It's time to talk….

The Christian Community, like others, is having to address the changes in local authority funding. As partners in welfare provision initiatives we have had to remind ourselves of the reason our churches were planted - namely, to serve the communities we are set.

The contemporary challenge to feed the hungry and to come alongside those who, for all sorts of reasons, find themselves on the margins of society, is not optional, and the need has never been greater.

Jesus had many conversations during his ministry and those who engaged with him were never the same again. In the recorded discourses, three words appear many times. Their relevance is more real and pressing than ever before. “Come follow me” Jesus said to those who were struggling to make sense of the pressures of life and the demands of society. He extends that same invitation to you here and now. It's time to talk….well we can talk for ever but at some stage a decision has to be made. Why not call into your local church and find out more about the one who is The Way, The Truth & The Life? I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
