CTSY Churches together in South Yorkshire, Dr Rowan Williams
CTSY is very privileged to have Dr Rowan Williams, the former Archbishop of Canterbury as its Forum guest speaker, who will speak on:
‘Spiritual but not religious ? Is the landscape changing ?’
He has been asked to speak to us as practical, rather than academic, Christians and his topic is ‘how organised religion is viewed in the UK today and whether we still have significant points of contact with our culture.’ This obviously impacts on our understanding of evangelisation and mission more broadly. See the enclosed flyer.  The venue is Victoria Hall Methodist Church, Norfolk Street, Sheffield, S1 2JB
Buffet available from 6.30pm, business from 7.30pm
We are expecting considerable interest to hear Dr Williams, so  attendance will need to be booked. Please contact your local Churches Together group, or after  23rd September please check on the CTSY website www.ctsy.org.uk/events for booking details.
If that baffles you, drop us an email or phone 07894 156618.
(A collection will be taken for a mission project and to help cover expenses)
Many thanks,
